Casuarina Free Beach – not the financial term!

If you like an even tan, you might like to head off to Lee Point Free Beach for a couple of hours. This is the only beach in Darwin where you can get it all off however we strongly encourage sunscreen!

Reidy’s Fishing Lure Factory - Outer Darwin

For something different why not take a behind the scenes tour and learn how they hand make the famous Reidy’s fishing lure. The factory is only 30kms from town and tours depart twice daily. There is a coffee shop for morning and afternoon tea and lunch and of course there’s a shop to stock up on all your fishing supplies!

Deckchair Cinema Experience - Darwin

Instead of going to the movies, why not go to watch a movie under the stars at the Deckchair Cinema. Take a pillow and your own takeaway or buy some dinner there at the stall. There is a licensed bar that also sells all the essential movie necessities including chocolate and chips!

Let the tide decide on where you're having lunch today. You can dine in your very own alfresco restaurant created with tables, chairs and umbrellas on a secluded beach with nobody else around! Lunch has a Japanese influence served within a Japanese bento box. For this "beach bento" you'll get to choose between prawns caught in the seas north of the Tiwi Islands, or roasted chicken, or a healthy vegetarian alternative. Your choice of a chilled beer, wine or soft drink compliments the meal. A great lunch idea wouldn't you say?
