Better than X Files... we're talking real Top End UFO Sightings!
Here in the Northern Territory we have the most sightings than anywhere else in Australia!! From Alice Springs, Wycliffe Well and all the way up to the Top End of the Northern Territory there have been constant sightings for over 20 years!!
Whether you take it seriously or are here for a laugh, you can't go past the fact that the NT has the most UFO sightings than the rest of the country.
From Gray discs, black discs and triangles, white and orange lights that glide across the sky, they are there zipping around the skies doing spectacular manoeuvres with not a sound at all!! They come in all shapes and sizes so you never know what you will see next!!
Most likely places to spot a UFO in the Top End
The best places to see UFO's in the Top End are around the Rural areas where the skies don't get disturbed by city lights. Most sightings have been around the Acacia Hills, Noonamah, Humpty Doo - so the rural area is a HOTSPOT!!
Top Tips on how to spot a UFO at night
- Head out to the Rural areas of Noonamah or Acacia Hills where the night sky is darker so it's easier to see them.
- Never waste your time spotting on the night of a full moon.
- Expect to spend a couple hours (minimum) looking for them and the later at night - the better!
- For fair dinkum spotters you should stay up all night as you would be unlucky not to see one especially during the high activity times!!
- Be very patient.
- Bring a comfortable fold up lounge or chair - as it is always good to get comfy while you take in the wonders of the cosmos that the NT skies deliver!
- Bring along these important accessories when spotting - (binoculars, insect repellent, coffee and biscuits, camera or video with tripod).
The most important rule for spotting UFO's is to look up the www.ufoterritory.com.au website as its updated weekly or daily when the activity is high.
