The Open Garden Scheme organises many private garden openings in the Top End each year, mainly in the Dry season.
The familiar green spade logo, and golden yellow direction signs, are familiar to many visitors from interstate, and our tropical gardens are a real change from the more traditional gardens of the south.
Entry to Open Gardens is generally $5, and openings benefit a range of charities - the RSPCA, Cancer Council, Red Cross, Breast Cancer Awareness and so on, as well as local school fundraising efforts.
There are still a few Open Gardens to go this year, all in Darwin.
