Memories that will always give you a giggle...
If you're tired of doing the usual touristy things and if you're into memories you'll never forget, how about a few pashing spot ideas to get the endorphins popping...
1. On a boat along the East Alligator River
The scenery is breath-taking with Kakadu National Park on one side of the river and the magical Arnhem Land on the other.
2. East Point Reserve - Darwin
An ideal place to ask for her hand at sunset before dinner at the sensational Pee Wee's Restaurant...
No overnight camping is allowed...
3. Under the thundering wet season rain
We recommend anywhere in the Top End during the Tropical Summer from November to April. There's nothing better than a wet pash after a hot steamy build-up.
Best months: January, February & March
4. Ubirr Rock - Kakadu
Sit here and snog until the sun sets over the floodplains.
Remember... you won't be alone at this hotspot
5. The Lost City - Litchfield
Get lost behind the unusual sandstone blocks and pillar formations...
One-liner: "Let's go behind that rock and get a little boulder..."
Be careful, Rangers visit here regularly...
6. On the top of Gunlom Falls - Kakadu
You'll enjoy a cool off in the pools together after a hot and steamy walk up to the top.
Afterwards, perch yourself on top of the falls and take in the views of Kakadu National Park.
7. Fogg Dam viewing platform
You won't be the only 'bird' in this location...
You'll be kissing amongst the water lillies if you stop at the viewing platform 1/2 way along the road on the left hand side.
8. Around the campfire...under the stars
Tourism Top End takes no responsibility for actions or results that could occur while camping in the Top End. A night out under the stars is truly uniqe, and one you'll never forget.
One liner: "Is your father a thief? 'Cause he stole the sparkle from the stars and put it in your eyes"
9. Lee Point Beach
- Buffalo Creek Side
Take a thermos of coffee, a blanket and some crusty bread, salami and cheese and watch the sun rise. The never-ending expanse of beach and glittering tropical waters will make you feel like you are on a deserted island...
One liner: "Did the sun come out or did you just smile at me"
10. Cutta Cutta Caves
Talk about mood lighting: the quiet illumination of the limestone formations is sure to kindle a romantic pause.
Sharing the beauty of the caves will be a treasured memory.
